Recollections, 1903.

Typescript copy of Alfred Baldwin's reminiscences, dictated to his daughter, concerning his journey to the Oregon Territory in 1845. He traveled from Rennslaerville, New York (May 2, 1845) to Oregon City, Oregon (December 1845). At Fort Boise, he met Stephen Meek and took a long loop to The Dalles. The recollection also discusses his move to California in 1846. A brief biographical sketch is attached to recollection.
